Veronica and Richard

Starfish, seashells, cocktails, sand and a reggae band. When Stubton Hall was a little more seaside...

Starfish at Beach Themed Wedding

I popped around to meet Veronica and Richard not long after they booked their venue I think. They talked me through how their plans were starting to evolve around their travels and favourite music. They were putting a lot of thought into theming their wedding and it sounded rather brilliant, right from the off. I quite vividly remember leaving their house that day hoping that I hadn't said anything stupid and that they liked the work I showed them, because I really wanted to be part of this wedding. Thankfully, I mustn't have put my foot in it because they booked us, and here we are.

We caught up with Veronica in the bridal suite...

Whilst the gents were getting ready down the hall...

Cufflinks in place, the gents went outside with Jason Lynch (Wedding Videographer) for a little stroll...

Back with the ladies...

Veronica and Richard wanted to catch up before the ceremony to exchange pressies and get a #firstlook at each other...

...and then it was time to go...

As you probably know, we're not permitted to take photographs of couples actually signing the register for legal reasons, so if you'd like some shots of this moment, it's all about pretending. The silliness of holding a pen with no ink in it is usually enough to give everyone a giggle...

...and then it was time to go and have friends and family throw things at the newlyweds...

...then back inside (it was a bit brisk at this point) for some drinks and snacks...

...and a little magic from the brilliant Scott Perry. Scott is usually mistaken for one of the guests, he’s subtle, witty and so far, his tricks are impossible to work out even with the cameras right on him...

Veronica & Richard wanted to grab some images of their nearest and dearest, we’ve shared a few...

We also took a walk around the grounds followed by a warm up on the stairs before it was time for some more food...

...and a little more magic...

With everyone fed and watered, it was time for a few words...

With the sun setting, it was time for the cake to be sliced and the music to start...

Music was provided by ska, rocksteady and reggae band Zeb Rootz...

Brilliant. We left everyone happily ensconced on the dance floor...

This was just a snippit...

Above are just under 200 images from a collection of over 1,000.

(We were there for a long time and there was lots going on!)

We always try and tell a complete story with our photographs. Not every picture will be one that you want to mount on the wall or feature in an album, but each should jog a memory or tell a little bit of the narrative of your day. That way, when you're older and your memory isn't all that, you can still relive it all. There are usually a few moments that you might have missed on the day too.

Give us a shout if you'd like to have a look through some complete wedding photography collections, just so you get the idea of the extent of the coverage, and get a feel for what you might receive at the end.
