OUR LITTLE MINI SHOOTS

We run these once or twice a year. They're slightly different to our other lifestyle shoots. Here's the lowdown:

WHAT ARE THEY?

30 minute sessions, usually outdoors in nature.

Our next one will be near Londonthorpe Woods, near Grantham.

You arrive, we have a mess about for half an hour, maybe sniff the flowers, kick some leaves, have a giggle, take some nice relaxed photographs, and then you carry on with your day. It's a lovely spot if you fancy a walk before/after.

We then send you your images via an online gallery. You can download high resolution, print ready files to use any way you wish, and order prints from there too if you'd like to.

It's dead easy.

WHO ARE THEY FOR?

Anyone! Often, we photograph kids or small family groups but it's not uncommon for us to shoot couples or individuals. Anyone who wants their photograph taken really.

WHAT DO WE GET?

20 - 30 minute photoshoot.

The duration depends mostly on those taking part and how up for it they are!

An online gallery of your images (usually 30+), each hand processed by us. We don't limit the number, we'll share all the 'usable' ones (eyes open, no unflattering faces (unless hilarious) etc).

You can download them all in full size, print ready format from your own secure gallery.

You also have the option to download all images in a smaller, watermarked format too.

Physical prints, books and other display products are available at extra (very reasonable) cost.

We do our best to make people smile, laugh and generally enjoy the whole experience. Your children are always more likely to smile at you though, so it's great if you can help draw their faces in the right direction and make them giggle. Same goes for any adults!

Please be aware these shoots are active rather than static, we rarely ask you to stand there and pose, we're more likely to suggest you move about in some way, have a chat etc. This keeps it natural and the photographs relaxed. As such, these shoots don't usually lend themselves to very large groups but please chat to us if you're unsure.

THE NOT-TOO-SMALL-TO-READ PRINT:

COME PREPARED & STAY ALERT

These shoots are in the great outdoors and usually in public spaces. There might be a short walk to get to us, please chat to us about this at the time of booking as necessary.

We do our best to pick the most sensible spots but we aren't able to guarantee the condition/cleanliness as you might expect. There might be mud, litter, insects, nettles, hidden animal faeces, disguised geotagged treasure and any other number of random possibilities. How involved you and your little people get in the environment is totally your call. Personally, we're happy for our son to sit in the mud and get dirty, but we appreciate you might not be, nor might you want grass stains on your favourite white trousers. If we suggest something you're not comfortable with, please say so and don't go along with it! Please also keep an eye on the safety of children throughout, we want you to avoid stains/stings/tears etc wherever possible! We appreciate we're stating the obvious here, but better safe than sorry.

TIMINGS

Please arrive on time. We build in a short gap between appointments so if you arrive late, that time comes off of the time we're able to spend taking photographs. Equally, we'd be grateful if you didn't arrive really early as we don't want to crowd the previous shoot either!

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS AWFUL?

We get wet?

Photos in the rain can look pretty epic if you're up for it. We take a bit of a rain shower in our stride. If it looks a little more serious/long lasting and compromises our equipment, we may need to reschedule. You'll be offered an alternative day (most often the next day if available) and if you can't commit to the date offered we'll happily refund any monies paid.

DOGS?

Yes! All we ask is that you prevent them from jumping all over us.

We won't have an opportunity to change if we get covered in mud...

PAYMENT INFO:

When you book, we ask for a £40 deposit to reserve your time slot. If you need to change your time, we'll do our best to accommodate this but can't guarantee to do so if we're already booked up.

The balance is due on the day of the shoot, before we start. We'll email you with payment info once you're all booked in.
